The second Vimeo Awards show in history took place at New York's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts on June 7. It's a not-quite-annual awards show; the previous Vimeo Awards presentation took place 18 months ago, in 2010. If you couldn't make it to either of those shows, don't worry. For this year's awards, an all-star group of judges that included actor James Franco, director Edward Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), and comedian Aziz Ansari picked through more than 14,500 entries in 13 award categories. Each category winner was awarded a $5,000 grant toward their next film project, and the Grand Prize winner--which went to the Everynone team for its film Symmetry--received a $25,000 grant.
