Virtual Edit has the power to perform frame accurate editing, which may easily be synchronised to music. Plus you have the ability to immediately view a series of edits to ensure precise artistic timing.
With the Effects Pre-Processor you can change colour balance, gamma, brightness and use various other effects similar to those used in cinema and TV in order to give a professional looking experience.
You can also add a variety of different transitions to move from one clip to the next. There is the universally accepted dissolve which basically fades between clips, and a collection of linear wipes which can be picked from presets, or specified from basic effect parameters.

Will there always be a free version available?
The full versions of Virtual Edit are not actually Free. But to allow users to evaluate the software we offer an 'evaluation' release free of charge.
The 'evaluation' version is compatible with the full retail versions, in that it will still be able to load and play projects, however, various image processing and rendering features will not be available.
What does Virtual Edit Look Like?
Virtual Edit consists of three main tool Windows. The Player, The Browser and The Graphical Edit window.
