Following a pair of reports on Tuesday suggesting Apple is prepping a smaller, cheaper iPad tablet that will launch this fall, The Wall Street Journal’s anonymous sources say Apple’s Asian suppliers are planning to begin mass production of the “iPad mini” in September.
